Van and MJ drove us over the local equivalent of the M62 – only in their version, heading westwards (towards Kona) meant less rain and more sun.
The trip was enlivened by the opportunity to try the local speciality – Spam Musubi ! ( A top quality slice of everyone’s favourite wartime protein, sandwiched between sticky rice layers, and secured together with seaweed
Looking forward to a couple of days of snorkeling !
