Lianne is now officially British – had a ceremony in Leeds Civic hall to confirm it on 4th August. With the Queen’s official Lord Lieutenant, no less. Welkom! ( Note how she snuck a Dutch flag into the event, in the form of a handbag … ) . The practical result is that she can now be out of the UK for longer periods without losing right of residence .. which will come in handy.
