Has now been a week spent enjoying the company of family and friends in NL / Belgium, and it’s been great. More nephews and nieces have sprouted across the region ( the Brussels effect ?) and it’s lovely to see them develop each year
Not wanting to outstay our welcome, we headed further south today – to Champagne 🍾 Country.
And … something weird happened. An unfamiliar light filled the sky, and that comforting blanket of grey faded away to a sort of…blue. Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been here – but here it comes – Sun, sun sun ! 🌞
However, there’s only a fairly thin band of Europe which is avoiding rain this weekend, so we didn’t go daft, stopped an hour south of Reims. Sunday’s forecast for example :
Bits Dropping Off – update
Somehow, just the act of recording the missing screws in my previous post was enough to trigger us finding one of them. It was cheekily hiding in the car – so our sleeping berth is now secure again. Huzzah and Harrumble !!
