So all we did was a quick cycle through more vineyards, then an admin / shopping / packing up day. ( If you noticed a sudden flood of blog posts, now you know why ) . We also changed our onward travel plans – as the weather in Swiss Alps seems very unsettled and chilly, we are instead heading south, general direction of Rhone / Ardeche. But that’s for tomorrow….

Temperature dropped in Yorkshire today. Finding warmer climes in the Ardeche sounds appealing.
Just caught up on the wildlife photos. Lizard was likeable and the eel being eaten was exciting but perhaps not for the eel. It was a hazard of course fishing when I was a boy to catch an eel as the are incredibly strong and hard to pin down and discourge the hook.
Thanks Harry. I always fancied catching an eel to see if that was true – but as with most fish, I didn’t. Good to eat, though
You know a lot about history Jonathan. Or did you listen well to the guide?
Bon voyage to le soleil.
Greetings Marianne
Just reading the stuff that’s in front of me !
