Just fitted in another walk up in the hills, while the good weather lasts ( rain due at the weekend ) followed by an illegal campfire from the wood we collected on way down ( only gas/charcoal is allowed in France, but the campground owner made an exception – I’m not THAT much of a rebel ). However, no puns were involved, so let’s move swiftly on to …..

Announcing the Competition Winner !

Our usual entrant, Mrs Trellis, was pipped at the post, but says the swelling has mostly gone down now and she can get her cardigan on again. So the proud winner of yesterday’s competition is M W Page, of York (age not provided). He went to the trouble of circling the concealed treasure in crayon – the kind of initiative we wish more youngsters displayed !
