Got back to the in-laws yesterday after 2 days drive through Austria and Germany.

Have to say it was more comfy in an air-conditioned car than it is in this 34 and upwards heat ….seems similar to UK. Found a bit of shade to pitch the van behind the farm here, but still.

Prepping for Max and Chris to join us tomorrow for big family weekend . Chris is planning an It’s a Knockout style afternoon of water-based games on Saturday. I’ll be taking the Eddie Waring role.

If at all possible, I’ll fit in a visit to this famous brewpub just up the road in Baarle Nassau – ( thanks for the recommendation, Richard 🍻) – but it was shut today when I had a recce …
