FAB Worcester

The van is currently resting in a quiet corner of a Worcestershire field, as we come to the end of a very pleasant weekend visiting the Bradleys. I wouldn’t normally trouble our respected blogerati with details of little local excursions, but this one had something special.

Very special.

The Supermarionation Exhibition had come to Worcester museum ! An irresistible pull for those of us who were entranced by the wobbly walks of the Tracy family and friends in the mid 60s.

Anything could happen in the next half hour” , we thought.

There was also a selection of TV21 comics, various Thunderbird vehicle models, the odd Stingray, and assorted plastic Tracy Islands .

Glorious.

Photo journalism at its best

And what a privilege to see the (mostly original) puppets from Captain Scarlet

Lianne missed it all while drinking coffee.  Bet she’s kicking herself now.

FAB day out indeed.

Huge thanks to Paul for organising the excursion.

And to Zoë for the Infantino link   😉
